Frozen Embryos as a result of a Funded IVF Cycle: Frozen embryos as a result of a funded cycle must remain at Pollin Toronto as funding is tied to the Toronto lab. All embryo transfers under a funded cycle must occur at Pollin Toronto to be included in your funding coverage.
Pollin Ottawa will not have access to Ontario Fertility Program (OFP) funding until the Ministry of Health opens up new funding.
Eligible Pollin Ottawa patients are able to access funded IVF cycles via Pollin Toronto, but will need to complete Egg Retrievals and Embryo Transfers at the Toronto location. All other funded cycle appointments, such as consultations, testing, cycle monitoring blood draws and ultrasounds can be completed at Pollin Ottawa.
Pollin Ottawa will apply for OFP funding as soon as we are able to do so. All Ottawa patients will be notified when funding becomes available.
