POLLIN SELECTED TO OFFER ONTARIO FERTILITY PROGRAM FUNDED CYCLES

Pollin Now Offers Government Funded IVF Cycles Through the Expanded Ontario Fertility Program.

On October 8th, Minister Sylvia Jones and MPP Michelle Cooper hosted a press conference at Pollin Fertility and announced a major expansion of the Ontario Fertility Program, committing an additional $250 million to make fertility care more accessible for families across the province.

This investment will increase both the number of clinics eligible for funding and the number of patients who can access publicly funded fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).

This is a big deal for Ontario families.

Pollin Fertility Selected as a Newly Funded Clinic

We’re proud to share that Pollin Fertility has been selected as one of the newly funded clinics in the Greater Toronto Area, alongside Twig Fertility and Tripod Fertility.

This expansion marks an important step in helping more Ontarians start or grow their families through evidence-based, compassionate, and inclusive fertility care.

What This Means for Patients Waiting for Funded IVF

As many fertility patients already know, access to provincially funded IVF cycles has been limited. Most participating clinics have far more demand than available funding, creating long and unpredictable waitlists.

Now, with new clinics like Pollin Fertility joining the program, patients have more options — and shorter wait times. Because Pollin Fertility's funding is newly allocated, there is currently no waitlist for funded cycles.

If you’re currently on a waitlist at another clinic, you may transfer your treatment to Pollin Fertility and access your funded IVF cycle sooner.

How to Know If You’re Eligible for Government Funded IVF

You may qualify for Ontario’s funded fertility program if you meet certain criteria related to your age, residency, and medical eligibility.

Generally, you must:

  • Be an Ontario resident with a valid OHIP card
  • Be under a certain age threshold at the start of treatment
  • Have a medical indication for fertility treatment

Each eligible patient is entitled to one funded IVF cycle per lifetime (not per clinic). The funding covers core clinical services, though patients may have to pay for medications and certain ancillary procedures.
