Dr. Joanne Hickey received her medical degree, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dalhousie University. She then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The University of Ottawa.
Dr. Hickey is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN) and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). She is a member of Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society (CFAS) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Being from the East Coast, Dr. Hickey enjoys taking the time to really get to know her patients and understanding their fertility journey. She values ensuring her patients understand all aspects of their treatment approach and plan. She has a special interest in PCOS and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Outside of work, Dr. Hickey enjoys walking her dog and exploring parks with her family.
