ReceptivaDx Testing Patient Information
August 29, 2024
What is ReceptivaDx?
This detects inflammation on the uterine lining, most often associated with endometriosis. This test can also detect recurring endometriosis in patients previously diagnosed and treated for the condition.
Endometriosis is considered to be one of the leading causes of unexplained infertility, IVF transfer failure and recurrent pregnancy loss.
This test provides new answers and treatment pathways even when genetic testing of embryos and attempts to define optimal transfer windows have failed to yield a successful pregnancy.
Based on an endometrial biopsy, ReceptivaDX measures a protein called BCL6.
An endometrial biopsy is collected during the window of implantation in either a natural cycle or controlled “mock cycle”. Accurate biopsy timing is important to the quality of results. Your physician will confirm what is best for you.
Costs
- ReceptivaDx with BCL6 - $1275
- ReceptivaDx with BCL6 + CD138 - $1550
Results
Test results will come back indicating positive or negative for BCL6. Test results will come back to us within 10 to 14 business days. The results will be discussed at your follow-up with your physician.
